POLICIES & PROCEDURES


At Erase Spa, we are committed to providing a safe, professional, and seamless experience for all of our clients. Please review the following policies and procedures to ensure the best possible treatment outcomes.

Pre-Treatment Care

Proper preparation is essential for effective and safe treatments. Clients are responsible for following the required pre-treatment guidelines. Failure to comply may result in rescheduling your appointment at management’s discretion.


Pre-Laser Hair Removal Guidelines:

  • Medications: Avoid antibiotics or any photosensitive medications for at least two weeks before treatment. Contact us with any questions regarding medication safety.
  • Sun Exposure: Refrain from sun exposure, tanning beds, spray tans, or tanning products two weeks before and after your session.
  • Hair Removal: Do not wax, thread, or tweeze the treatment area for two weeks prior.
  • Skincare Products: Discontinue retinol, exfoliants, acne treatments, and prescription skincare products two weeks before treatment.
  • Makeup & Lotions: Remove all makeup and skincare products from treatment areas before your session.
  • Shaving: The area must be shaved the night before your appointment.
  • Pregnancy: If applicable, please confirm you are not pregnant before scheduling laser treatments.
  • Tattoos & Lesions: Cover any tattoos, moles, or open wounds before your session.


Pre-Facial Guidelines (Laser & Non-Laser):

  • Avoid exfoliants, AHA/BHA acids, and retinoids two weeks before treatment.
  • Do not exfoliate on the day of your appointment.
  • If you have dermatitis, rosacea, or eczema, a consultation is required before scheduling a facial.
  • Avoid any facial treatments, waxing, or injectables two weeks before your appointment.
  • Inform us of any long-term acne medications, including Accutane.
  • Notify us of any prescription medications taken within 2-4 weeks of treatment.

Safety & Medical Considerations

Your safety is our priority. Please disclose any medical conditions such as pregnancy, hypertension, allergies, recent sun exposure, or injuries when booking your appointment. Speak with your technician to ensure your treatment is safe and effective.

Note: Erase Spa is not wheelchair accessible.



Terms of Purchase

Scheduling

  • All sales on products and services are final.
  • Store credit is available.
  • Services expire 18 months from the date of purchase (noted in your receipt email).
  • Promotions may begin or end at any time.


Punctuality

Arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow for check-in. If you’re running late, call us at 212.379.6558 or text 646.846.1706 (emails are not checked in real-time).


Late arrivals may result in:

  • A shortened treatment
  • Fewer treated areas
  • Rescheduling
  • Waiting for same-day availability

All reschedules will be accommodated within business hours only.


Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations or reschedules require 24 hours’ notice.
  • Same-day cancellations and no-shows incur a $50 fee or loss of session(s).
  • Lost sessions can be reinstated with a $50 reinstatement fee.
  • Exceptions require a valid doctor’s note.


Gratuities

Gratuity is not included in service prices. A 15%-20% tip is customary for treatments. Tips can be given via cash, Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App, or through our TIPPING PAGE.


Teens & Minors

  • Clients under 18 require a parent/guardian’s written consent.
  • Clients under 16 must have a parent/guardian present during all appointments.


Privacy Policy

Erase Spa respects your privacy and secures all personal information. Any details shared in person, over the phone, or online are confidential and will not be sold or shared with third parties.
